The new turbo-petrol Triber gets more power, 180 Nm of torque and a five-speed manual gearbox.
Renault has launched a new turbo-petrol version of the Triber in India. The seven-seat MPV now gets a 1.0-litre three-cylinder TCe turbo-petrol engine.
The engine produces 100 hp and 180 Nm of torque. It comes with a five-speed manual gearbox and is also used in the Renault Kiger and Duster.
Renault Triber Turbo Price
The Renault Triber TCe 100 starts at Rs 7.84 lakh (ex-showroom). The range goes up to Rs 8.99 lakh for the top-spec Emotion variant. In comparison, the standard Triber starts at Rs 5.80 lakh (ex-showroom). It uses a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.
Renault Triber Turbo Engine And Performance
The new turbo engine produces 100 hp and 180 Nm. The standard petrol version develops 72 hp and 96 Nm. Renault has tuned the engine to deliver 180 Nm of torque. It also gets an updated engine management system.

Renault claims the turbo version can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 10.8 seconds. The company also claims a fuel efficiency figure of 21 km/l. The standard 1.0-litre petrol-manual Triber has a claimed mileage of 19.76 km/l.
Triber Turbo Design Changes
The new turbo version keeps most of the standard Triber’s design. The main visual change is a Turbo badge at the rear. It continues to use Renault’s RGEP architecture. The turbo model also retains the same 2,636 mm wheelbase as the standard version.
Renault Triber Remains Key Model
The Triber remains Renault India’s best-selling model. It contributes nearly half of the company’s monthly sales in India. The MPV usually records between 1,500 and 1,900 units in monthly sales. Renault sold 1,536 units in August 2026, while cumulative sales have crossed two lakh units in India.
The new TCe 100 variant expands the Triber range with a more powerful engine option. It is offered with a five-speed manual gearbox and starts at Rs 7.84 lakh (ex-showroom).
