The foldable phone is tipped to arrive in two storage variants and two colour options in India.
Vivo X Fold 6 could launch in India on October 6, according to a new tip. The Indian debut is expected to take place at 12pm, just five days after the phone’s tipped global launch on October 1. Tipster Abhishek Yadav shared the launch details in a post on X. Vivo has not yet announced an official India launch date for the foldable phone.
Vivo X Fold 6 India Variants And Colours
The leaked details suggest that the Indian version could be offered in two configurations. These are 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage.
The phone is also tipped to arrive in Prism Black and Nebula Teal colour options. This would give Indian buyers more configuration choices than the previous Vivo X Fold 5.
The Vivo X Fold 5 was launched in India in July 2025. It was available with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage in a single Titanium Grey colour option.
Vivo X Fold 6 Could Get Different Global Software
The software could also vary between the Chinese and international versions. The China model runs OriginOS 6 Fold, while the global version is tipped to use the newer OriginOS 7.
Vivo launched the X Fold 6 in China in June. The phone started at CNY 7,999, which was around Rs 1.05 lakh at the time.
Vivo has previously confirmed that the foldable will reach select global markets. However, the company has not officially announced its India launch date.
Vivo X Fold 6 Specifications
The China-spec Vivo X Fold 6 features an 8.02-inch foldable AMOLED display. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, while the 6.51-inch outer AMOLED display also offers a 120Hz refresh rate.
The handset carries an IP58 and IP59 rating for dust and water resistance. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super chipset and uses an ARM Mali G1-Ultra GPU.
The China model offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. These specifications may differ from the configurations tipped for India.
200MP Camera And 7,000mAh Battery
For photography, the X Fold 6 gets a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera setup. It includes a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
The telephoto camera supports up to 100x digital zoom. The phone also has two 20-megapixel selfie cameras, with one placed on each display. The foldable packs a 7,000mAh battery. It supports 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.
The phone measures 157.16 x 145.66 x 4.40mm when unfolded. When folded, it measures 157.16 x 74.26 x 9.40mm and weighs around 228 grams.
If the reported schedule is accurate, the Vivo X Fold 6 could make its India debut on October 6. Vivo’s official announcement will confirm the launch date, pricing and India-specific specifications.
