2027 Kawasaki Ninja H2 Revealed

Kawasaki has revealed the updated Ninja H2 range for international markets, with major changes to its supercharged engine and electronics.

Kawasaki has revealed the 2027 Ninja H2 lineup for international markets. The range includes the Ninja H2, track-only H2R, and limited-run H2 Carbon. The India launch timeline remains unclear.

2027 Kawasaki Ninja H2 Gets Major Engine Changes

The biggest change is the supercharged engine. Kawasaki has redesigned the impeller and intake system, along with the pistons, cylinder head, cylinder, crankshaft, and camshafts.

The bike also gets revised throttle bodies and a new exhaust system. These changes reduce output on the road-going Ninja H2 to 206 hp and 135 Nm. The previous model produced 240 hp and 142 Nm. The track-only Ninja H2R continues to make more than 296 hp.

Updated Electronics And Instrument Cluster

Kawasaki has also revised the instrument cluster. It now offers two display modes, including an aviation-inspired layout with more boost and lean-angle information.

Other features include Cornering Management Function, KIBS ABS, Quick Shifter, Engine Brake Control, and cruise control. The Ninja H2 also gets an Ohlins electronic steering damper. Smartphone connectivity is available through Kawasaki’s Rideology app.

Ninja H2 Carbon Gets Carbon-Fibre Parts

The limited-run H2 Carbon gets a lightweight upper cowl made from CFRP. It also adds several other carbon-fibre components. The special variant sits above the standard Ninja H2 in the UK price range. Kawasaki has positioned it as a limited-run version of the updated motorcycle.

2027 Kawasaki Ninja H2 UK Price

In the UK, the 2027 Ninja H2 costs £28,600. This is around Rs 36.9 lakh based on the supplied conversion. The H2 Carbon costs £31,350, or around Rs 40.44 lakh. Kawasaki has not confirmed an India return for the updated range.

Kawasaki Ninja H2 India History

The Ninja H2 first arrived in India in April 2015. Kawasaki launched it at the Buddh International Circuit as a CBU model. Its original ex-showroom price was Rs 29 lakh. The price later rose to Rs 34.99 lakh before the model was discontinued in February 2025.

The Ninja H2 was a niche offering in Kawasaki India’s lineup. It was sold as a road-legal supercharged motorcycle through the company’s official range.

What Happens Next For India?

For now, Kawasaki has confirmed the 2027 Ninja H2 range for international markets. Further details about India will depend on a separate announcement.
