The new model could get a larger and squarer grille. It may also feature a new bumper and diamond-shaped air inlets. Spy images show slimmer headlamps with projector units.
The side profile and overall size are likely to stay the same. The rear could get a new bumper and revised tail-lamp internals. These changes would give the MPV a fresh look without changing its basic shape.

Spy shots published by Rushlane show few changes to the cabin. The infotainment system could be one area that Toyota updates.
Higher variants of the current model have a 10.1-inch touchscreen. Toyota could offer a larger screen or a new interface. However, the latest spy images do not clearly confirm this change.
The main dashboard design appears unchanged. The raised centre console and automatic gear selector remain familiar. The door-mounted seat controls also appear to carry over.

Toyota Innova Hycross facelift: Hybrid powertrain
Major mechanical changes are not expected. Toyota is likely to retain the 2.0-litre petrol and 2.0-litre strong-hybrid engines.
