Subheadline: KTM has launched the updated 200 Duke in India at Rs 2.07 lakh, adding electronic throttle control, traction control and two new colour options.

KTM has launched the updated 200 Duke in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.07 lakh. The latest version gets several new features, including ride-by-wire, a bi-directional quickshifter, traction control and two ride modes. The price has increased by Rs 1,552 compared with the outgoing model.

The updates bring more technology to KTM’s entry-level streetfighter while retaining its existing engine and core mechanical setup. The motorcycle also gets two new colour options and additional features for everyday riding.

New KTM 200 Duke: Changes

The biggest update is the addition of ride-by-wire technology. It replaces the conventional throttle connection with electronic control, allowing the rider to select Street and Rain ride modes. These modes adjust power delivery according to riding conditions. Traction control is also included as standard.

The new bi-directional quickshifter is another major addition. It allows riders to shift up and down through the six-speed gearbox without using the clutch. This feature was previously available on the KTM 250 Duke and 390 Duke, and now comes to the 200 Duke.

The updated TFT display allows riders to manage traction control, ride modes and the quickshifter. KTM has also added Crawl Assist, which aims to reduce rider fatigue during stop-and-go traffic. These features add convenience for daily commutes and more engaging rides.

New KTM 200 Duke: Hardware

The updated 200 Duke continues to use a 199.5 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It produces 25 hp and 19.3 Nm of torque. KTM claims the motorcycle offers a class-leading power-to-weight ratio in the 200 cc street-naked segment.

The motorcycle retains its 43 mm WP upside-down front forks and 320 mm front brake rotor. It also continues with a wider 150-section rear tyre. These components remain part of the bike’s existing hardware package, while the new electronic features improve its overall equipment list.

KTM 200 Duke: New Colours

KTM has introduced two new colour options for the updated 200 Duke. Liquid Carbon brings an all-black finish to the motorcycle for the first time. Slate Grey offers a more understated appearance with a contrasting finish.

The updated KTM 200 Duke is priced at Rs 2.07 lakh (ex-showroom), with the engine and core hardware remaining unchanged. Buyers can now choose from the new colour options and benefit from the added electronic features.
