The special edition adds a rear entertainment screen, a new exterior colour and upgraded cabin details, while retaining the standard model’s smaller battery pack.

MG has launched the Windsor EV Indulge Edition in India at Rs 18 lakh, ex-showroom. The special edition brings styling updates, additional accessories and new cabin features, including a screen for rear-seat passengers.

The electric vehicle retains the standard Windsor EV’s mechanical setup. It uses a 38 kWh battery pack and offers a certified driving range of 332 km.

MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition: Design and Accessories

The Indulge Edition introduces a new Shadow Gold exterior colour with 18-inch blackened alloy wheels. It also gets Indulge badges on the rear quarter glass to distinguish it from the standard model.

Other exterior features remain unchanged. These include LED lighting, body cladding, a black roof and blacked-out outside rear-view mirrors. MG has also included an accessory package with the special edition. It features a rear sunshade, themed 3D floor mats, chrome front grille accents, bumper corner protectors, body-side moulding and a leather key cover.

The cabin features Urban Tan and Black upholstery, along with Indulge embroidery on the front headrests. The special edition also includes themed cushions and neck pillows.

A 15.6-inch Prive screen for second-row passengers comes as standard. The regular Windsor EV’s 15.6-inch central touchscreen and Aero Lounge seats are also retained. These seats can recline up to 135 degrees.

The rear entertainment screen is one of the key additions to this edition. It gives rear-seat passengers a dedicated display without changing the vehicle’s overall cabin layout.

MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition: Battery and Range

The Indulge Edition uses a 38 kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor. The motor produces 100 kW, or 136 hp, and 200 Nm of torque.

MG quotes a certified range of 332 km on a single charge. Actual range may vary depending on driving conditions, vehicle load and climate-control use.

The standard Windsor EV Pro is available with a larger 52.9 kWh battery pack. That version has a claimed range of 449 km, but the Indulge Edition is limited to the smaller 38 kWh battery.

MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition: What Buyers Should Know

Priced at Rs 18 lakh ex-showroom, the Indulge Edition focuses on added styling and passenger comfort. Its main changes include the Shadow Gold finish, black alloy wheels, upgraded upholstery and rear entertainment screen.

However, buyers do not get the larger 52.9 kWh battery offered with the Windsor EV Pro. The Indulge Edition retains the 38 kWh battery and its certified range of 332 km.
