The updated luxury SUV retains its existing engine options, adds a new V6 variant and offers an electric version with a claimed range of up to 580 km.
Maserati has launched the Grecale facelift in India at an introductory price of Rs 1.14 crore (ex-showroom). The updated luxury SUV comes with revised styling, new cabin features and multiple powertrain options. The range includes petrol mild-hybrid engines, a V6-powered version and the all-electric Grecale Folgore.
Maserati Grecale Facelift: Engine and Performance
The entry-level Grecale uses a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology. It produces 300 hp and 450 Nm of torque. Maserati claims the SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 240 kmph.
The Grecale Modena gets a more powerful version of the same engine. It produces 330 hp and reaches 100 kmph from a standstill in 5.3 seconds. The lineup also introduces the Modena V6, which uses Maserati’s 3.0-litre Nettuno V6 engine to produce 390 hp. This version completes the 0-100 kmph sprint in 4.9 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 260 kmph.
At the top of the petrol range, the Grecale Trofeo uses a more powerful version of the Nettuno V6 engine. It produces 530 hp and 620 Nm of torque. Maserati claims a 0-100 kmph time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 285 kmph.
Maserati Grecale Folgore: Electric Range and Performance
The all-electric Grecale Folgore continues to be part of the lineup. Its dual-motor setup produces 550 hp and 820 Nm of torque. The electric SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.1 seconds, with a claimed top speed of 220 kmph.
The Folgore now offers a claimed range of up to 580 km. Maserati attributes the improvement to a revised control strategy. The electric version also features all-wheel drive and a system that can disconnect part of the drivetrain to save energy. Its height-adjustable Skyhook air suspension adds further flexibility to the chassis setup.
Maserati Grecale Facelift: Exterior Design Changes
The updated Grecale gets styling changes inspired by the Maserati MCPura supercar. The front bumper features a redesigned concave grille with a sharper shark-nose appearance. Larger air intakes and air curtains also help guide airflow around the front wheel arches.
The Trofeo variant comes with matrix LED headlamps, while the other versions use full-LED units. Maserati has also introduced new 20-inch Asteria and 21-inch Crono alloy wheel designs. Buyers can choose a new Grigio Lamiera Shiny paint finish through the brand’s Fuoriserie personalisation programme. The SUV measures 4,873 mm in length, 1,947 mm in width and 1,687 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,901 mm.
Maserati Grecale Facelift: Interior and Features
Inside, the updated SUV gets a new octagonal steering wheel. Buyers can choose perforated leather or Alcantara upholstery for the steering wheel, which features large aluminium paddle shifters. The dashboard’s digital clock has also been revised with a mineral crystal dial and a metal bezel.
The gear selector now features backlit metal buttons with capacitive haptic technology. This system provides touch-based controls with a physical response. All variants receive a 12.3-inch touchscreen and an 8.8-inch lower display for climate settings. Wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Maserati Intelligent Assistant connectivity are also included.

Except for the entry-level version, all variants feature a 14-speaker Sonus faber audio system. They also get three-zone automatic climate control, multi-colour ambient lighting and heated front seats.
The Modena V6 and Trofeo receive Alcantara-wrapped steering wheels with contrasting yellow and red stitching, respectively. The Modena V6 also gets 14-way power-adjustable front seats. A panoramic sunroof is available exclusively on the Trofeo.
Maserati Grecale Facelift: Safety Features
The updated Grecale comes with front, side and curtain airbags, electronic stability control and ISOFIX child-seat anchors. Front and rear parking sensors are also included in the safety package.
Its advanced driver assistance systems include autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, active lane management and blind-spot monitoring. Traffic-sign recognition and intersection collision assist are also available on the petrol variants. However, the electric Folgore does not get these two features.
Maserati Grecale Facelift: Personalisation Options
Maserati will offer customisation options through its Officine Fuoriserie programme. The programme allows buyers to personalise the SUV’s colours, upholstery and exterior finishes.
The Collezione tier offers curated specifications under two themes. Futura focuses on brighter colours and modern upholstery, while Corse draws inspiration from classic paint shades, historic racing liveries and tan leather.
The Bespoke tier allows customers to work directly with Maserati’s design team. Buyers can use this option to create individual paint shades and exterior liveries.
Maserati Grecale Facelift: What Buyers Should Know
The updated Grecale offers several petrol engine options alongside an all-electric model. The Modena V6 expands the range with a new six-cylinder choice, while the Trofeo remains the most powerful petrol variant.
For buyers considering an electric luxury SUV, the Folgore offers a claimed range of up to 580 km. Its actual range will depend on driving conditions and usage. The facelift also brings updated styling, revised cabin details and a range of driver assistance features.
Maserati has priced the updated Grecale from Rs 1.14 crore (ex-showroom) in India. Buyers can explore the available variants and personalisation options through the brand’s official sales channels.
