Hero MotoCorp has launched a new ABS-equipped version of the Glamour X 125 in India. The new variant costs Rs 1.01 lakh ex-showroom and becomes the top model in the range.
The main update is a single-channel anti-lock braking system, or ABS. It works with an Integrated Braking System, which links the front and rear brakes for more balanced braking.

ABS can help stop the front wheel from locking during hard braking. This can be useful on slippery roads and during emergency braking. The new model joins the TVS Raider 125, Honda CB125 Hornet and Hero Xtreme 125R with ABS in the 125cc segment. The Xtreme 125R offers dual-channel ABS, while the Glamour X 125 uses a single-channel system for the front wheel.
Hero continues to offer the Glamour X 125 in Drum and Disc versions. They are priced at Rs 89,999 and Rs 99,999, respectively, ex-showroom Delhi. The new ABS model costs Rs 1.01 lakh and sits above both versions.
Engine And Riding Modes
The motorcycle uses a 124.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It produces 11.4 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The Glamour X 125 also retains three riding modes: Eco, Road and Power. These modes let riders change throttle response and performance based on riding conditions.
Another notable feature is cruise control, which is uncommon in this segment. It is designed to reduce rider fatigue during longer rides on open roads.
Technology And Features
The bike also gets a colour TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. It supports turn-by-turn navigation and call and SMS alerts. Other features include full-LED lighting, a USB Type-C charging port and two under-seat mobile storage compartments.
The ABS-equipped Glamour X 125 is offered in four colours. These are Gun Metal Grey, Matt Axis Grey, Black Pearl Red and Black Teal Blue. The new variant adds a safety-focused upgrade to the Glamour X 125 range. It is now the highest-priced version of the motorcycle sold in India.
