Porsche India is set to launch the Cayenne Electric in India on September 30, 2026. The all-electric SUV will arrive nearly a year after Porsche first announced its India launch. The Cayenne Electric will be offered in two variants at launch. These are the Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric, before options.
Porsche Cayenne Electric Powertrain And Range
Both versions use a 113kWh battery pack and dual electric motors. The setup provides all-wheel drive across the range. The standard Cayenne Electric produces 408hp and 835Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 4.8 seconds and has a claimed range of up to 642km.
The Cayenne Turbo Electric develops 1,156hp and 1,150Nm of torque. It can reach 100kmph from a standstill in 2.5 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 260kmph. The Turbo Electric offers a claimed range of 623km. The standard version has an electronically limited top speed of 230kmph.
Air Suspension And Regenerative Braking
Adaptive air suspension is standard on both variants. Rear-axle steering will be available as an option to improve agility and high-speed stability.
Porsche states that the Cayenne Electric can recover energy at up to 600kW through regenerative braking. Under ideal conditions, around 97 per cent of braking can be handled by the electric motors.

Interior Features And Technology
Inside, the Cayenne Electric gets a digital driver’s display and a 14.5-inch curved infotainment touchscreen. The touchscreen marks a first for a Porsche model in India, according to the supplied information.
