Audi India will launch the third-generation Q3 in India on October 16, 2026. The new SUV will be locally assembled and is expected to cost between Rs 55 lakh and Rs 60 lakh.
Audi India has already opened bookings for the new model at Rs 1 lakh. However, the company has not announced the final variant-wise prices yet.
The new Q3 brings a sharper design, more digital features and an updated cabin. It will enter India’s premium compact SUV market with rivals including the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA and Mini Countryman C.
New Audi Q3 Design
The new Q3 gets a more upright and wider-looking front end. Its biggest design change is the split-headlamp setup, with slim configurable LED daytime-running lights placed above the main headlamp units.
The SUV also gets a larger front grille. The lower bumper features a honeycomb-pattern intake and a silver-finished element. On the sides, the Q3 gets body-coloured cladding, a chrome window line and black trim around the glass.
The new model rides on 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, it features split LED tail-lamps and a connecting light bar. The Audi logo is illuminated, while a roof-mounted spoiler completes the design.
New Audi Q3 Engine and Powertrain
The India-spec Q3 is expected to use a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. The engine is expected to produce 204 hp and 320 Nm of torque.
A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission will be paired with the engine. Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system is also likely to be standard across the Q3 range.
Reports indicate a claimed 0-100 kmph acceleration time of 7.1 seconds. The reported top speed is 229 kmph. These figures remain subject to Audi’s final India-specification announcement.
New Audi Q3 Cabin and Features
The new Q3 gets a more digital cabin layout. Separate screens are provided for the driver’s instruments and infotainment system.
The SUV also gets a four-spoke steering wheel. Its gear selector is mounted on the steering column, creating more space around the centre console.
Expected equipment includes a Sonos sound system and panoramic sunroof. Other expected features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone automatic climate control and ambient lighting.
The SUV is also expected to offer paddle shifters, a powered tailgate and a 360-degree camera system.
New Audi Q3 Booking Details
Audi India has opened bookings for the new Q3 at Rs 1 lakh. Buyers can reserve the SUV through Audi India’s website, the myAudi connect app or authorised Audi dealerships.
The booking amount gives interested buyers an early opportunity to reserve the upcoming SUV before its official launch. Audi is yet to reveal the complete variant and price details for India.
