Poco has officially launched the Poco X8 for global markets, bringing an 8,340mAh battery and Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 SoC. The phone was announced alongside the brand’s latest flagship devices ahead of its Indian launch in the coming days.
The Poco X8 features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1280 x 2772 resolution. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of 3,500 nits.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset. On the rear, it has a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation and a 2MP depth sensor. A 16MP front camera is provided for selfies.
The biggest feature is its 8,340mAh battery. It supports 67W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. Poco says the battery can support at least 1,600 charge cycles before its capacity falls below 80%.
The Poco X8 runs Android 16 with HyperOS 3. The phone also carries IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. These ratings indicate different levels of protection against dust and water.
The device measures 163.45 x 78.27 x 8.6mm and weighs 223 grams. It will be available in black, white and orange colour options.
Poco will offer the X8 in three RAM and storage configurations. These include 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage.
In Europe, the Poco X8 appears to be limited to 256GB storage options. The 8GB RAM model is priced at €399.99, while the 12GB RAM version costs €449.99. Early bird prices are €319.99 and €359.99, respectively.
For Indian buyers, the Poco X8 is notable because its local launch is due in a few days. Poco has also confirmed that the X8 Power will join the phone in India.
The Poco X8 combines a large battery, a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display and a Snapdragon chipset. Further details about its Indian price, variants and availability will come with the local launch.
