Ather Energy has launched the Konarc electric scooter in India in three variants. The family-oriented scooter offers a claimed range of up to 161 km on one charge.
The new Konarc is available as the S 100, S 125 and S 161. Prices start at Rs 99,999 and go up to Rs 1,44,999, with all prices listed as ex-showroom.
The scooter uses a steel unibody chassis and a conventional scooter design. It has an LED daytime running light on the front apron, a flat footboard and a single-piece flat seat.
A 31-litre storage space is placed under the seat. The scooter also gets a U-shaped LED taillight.
The S 100 uses a 2.1 kWh battery and has a claimed IDC range of 100 km. The S 125 uses the same battery pack but offers a claimed range of 125 km.
The top S 161 variant has a 3.5 kWh battery and a 4.7 kW electric motor. It has a claimed range of 161 km and a top speed of 70 km/h.
Ather has also added several connected and safety features to the Konarc. These include a USB Type-C charging port, AutoHold, FallSafe, AirWalk and Bluetooth connectivity.
The scooter also supports Ather Connect, theft and tow alerts, Find My Scooter and over-the-air software updates. These features add convenience and connected functions for daily riders.
