The new Nissan Pixo is a compact electric city car with a 27.5kWh battery, modern technology and European deliveries planned for early 2027.
Nissan has unveiled the Pixo, a small electric car designed for urban buyers in Europe. Developed with Renault, the new EV will be manufactured at Renault’s Novo Mesto plant in Slovenia. Customer deliveries are scheduled to begin in early 2027.
The Nissan Pixo features a 27.5kWh battery pack and a single electric motor producing 82hp. It offers a claimed driving range of 259km on a full charge under the WLTP test cycle.
Nissan Pixo Design And Dimensions
The Nissan Pixo features the brand’s latest electric vehicle design language. Its exterior includes cube-inspired proportions, pixel-style lighting and a front bumper with what Nissan calls a “robot face” design.
The car also gets distinctive ‘2-3’ markings, pixel-like details on its 18-inch wheels and prominent Nissan lettering on the tailgate. Buyers will be able to choose colours such as Wonder Purple and Gear Blue, paired with black exterior elements.
Measuring 3,796mm in length and 1,790mm in width, the Pixo is designed for city driving. Its 9.9-metre turning circle is intended to help it navigate tight streets and parking spaces.
Nissan Pixo Interior And Features
The cabin gets a vertically arranged dashboard with a textured finish and orange accents around the air vents. Physical buttons and dials operate the automatic climate control system, while a large drive selector sits behind the steering wheel.

The instrument panel includes a 7-inch digital display for the driver. A separate 10-inch touchscreen handles infotainment functions. The Pixo also features Google Gemini integration, which Nissan says supports 16 languages and dialects. Other technology includes Google Built-In services, the MyNissan app and Face ID driver recognition.
The Face ID system can identify different drivers and restore their personalised settings. The car also offers driver assistance features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning and hands-free parking.
Cabin Space And Boot Capacity
Despite its compact size, the Nissan Pixo can seat four adults. Its rear seats can slide individually to adjust the balance between passenger legroom and luggage space.
The boot offers 356 litres of capacity with the rear seats in place. This figure includes a separate 50-litre compartment for charging cables. Folding the rear seats increases the total luggage capacity to 1,221 litres.
Nissan Pixo Battery, Range And Charging
The Nissan Pixo uses a 27.5kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. This battery powers a single electric motor that produces 82hp. Nissan claims a range of 259km on a full charge under the WLTP cycle. The company has not yet disclosed the motor’s torque or the car’s performance figures.
The electric car supports DC fast charging at up to 50kW. Nissan says charging from 15% to 80% takes around 28 minutes under suitable conditions. The Pixo also supports 11kW bidirectional AC charging. This feature allows the car to supply electricity to a home or external devices.
Nissan Pixo Launch Timeline And Expected Price
Nissan has not announced the Pixo’s price yet. Market-specific details are expected to be revealed from December 2026. Customer deliveries across Europe are scheduled to begin in early 2027.
