The limited-edition SUV gets dedicated off-road hardware, new styling and a roof luggage system.
Mercedes-Benz India has launched the Mercedes-AMG G63 Offroad PRO in India. The limited-edition performance SUV is priced at Rs 3.80 crore (ex-showroom).
The new variant is the first off-road-focused version of the G63 offered in India. Mercedes-Benz says only a select number of customers will get the opportunity to buy it.
Mercedes-AMG G63 Offroad PRO Performance
The G63 Offroad PRO continues with the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine. It also gets a 48V mild-hybrid system with an integrated starter generator.
The powertrain produces 430 kW, or 585 hp, and 850 Nm of torque. The hybrid system can provide an additional 15 kW of boost. Mercedes-AMG claims the SUV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 4.4 seconds. Its top speed is electronically limited to 240 kmph.
G63 Offroad PRO Gets New Styling
The limited-edition SUV gets several exterior changes over the standard G63. These include AMG-specific bumpers, stainless-steel inserts and AMG badging.
Inside, the SUV uses Mercedes’ MBUX NTG7 infotainment system. It features dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The system also supports augmented-reality navigation and multiple USB-C ports. Other cabin features include Nappa leather, ambient lighting and a Burmester 3D surround sound system.

The Burmester setup has 18 speakers and a 760W output. Safety features include Active Brake Assist, Lane Keeping Assist and a 360-degree camera.
Off-Road Hardware And Technology
The G63 Offroad PRO uses AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive. It also gets AMG Active Ride Control suspension with active roll stabilisation.
The suspension offers three stiffness settings. The system is designed to improve wheel articulation, traction and stability on uneven surfaces. The SUV also gets AMG Traction PRO. It operates in the Rock and Sand drive modes and manages braking force at individual wheels. Drivers can adjust the locking effect across seven levels. The system is designed to help manage traction across different terrain conditions.
New Off-Road Interface
Mercedes-AMG has added a dedicated off-road interface to the G63 Offroad PRO. It displays information such as vehicle position, compass heading and altitude.
The system also shows steering angle, tyre pressure and differential-lock status. The SUV further gets the Transparent Hood function. This camera-based feature provides a virtual view of the area beneath the front of the vehicle. It is designed to help drivers monitor the terrain immediately ahead.
Roof Rack And Exclusive Wheels
The Offroad PRO gets a PROFESSIONAL roof luggage rack with integrated aluminium panels. A rear access ladder is also included for carrying expedition equipment. The SUV rides on 20-inch AMG five-twin-spoke alloy wheels. They are finished in matte black and use 275/50 R20 tyres.
These wheels and tyres are exclusive to the Offroad PRO variant. The new model combines the standard G63’s performance hardware with additional equipment designed for off-road use. The Mercedes-AMG G63 Offroad PRO is now available in India in limited numbers. Its starting price is Rs 3.80 crore (ex-showroom).
