Aprilia has unveiled the new SXR-GT scooter range in India. The new model is offered with 125cc and 175cc engine options. The company has not announced prices yet.
The SXR-GT brings back the maxi-scooter design seen on the Aprilia SXR 160. It also gets the brand’s signature styling and new colour options. Aprilia says the scooter is designed for urban touring.
Aprilia SXR-GT Design And Colours
The SXR-GT follows the familiar maxi-scooter design of the SXR 160. It features Aprilia’s signature Tripod LED front light and new body graphics.
The range gets six colour options across the two variants. The SXR-GT 125 is available in Matte Black, Glossy Azzurro and Glossy White. The SXR-GT 175 comes in Metallic Blue, Matte Black and Matte Green. These colour choices are specific to the respective variants.
Aprilia SXR-GT Engine And Performance
The SXR-GT 125 uses a 125cc hp-e engine. It produces 10.46 hp at 7,400 rpm and 10.4 Nm of torque at 6,200 rpm. The larger SXR-GT 175 gets a 175cc engine. It develops 13 hp at 7,200 rpm and 14.14 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.

Both versions are E20-compliant and use 14-inch wheels. Braking hardware includes single-channel ABS, a 220mm front disc and a rear drum brake.
Features And Technology
The SXR-GT range gets a 5-inch TFT LCD instrument display. The larger SXR-GT 175 also gets Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
