The electric motorcycle offers a claimed range of up to 343km, a top speed of 155kmph and advanced radar-based safety features.

Ultraviolette has launched the X-47 Venom electric motorcycle in India at an introductory price of Rs 2.65 lakh. The offer applies to the first 5,000 units, while the regular starting price is Rs 3 lakh. Bookings opened on October 22, 2026, with deliveries scheduled to begin in November 2026.

The new motorcycle uses Ultraviolette’s VX-100 platform and comes with two battery options. Buyers can choose between 7kWh and 11kWh battery packs, with the larger version offering a claimed range of 343km on a single charge.

Ultraviolette X-47 Venom Gets New VX-100 Platform

The X-47 Venom is the first motorcycle built on Ultraviolette’s new VX-100 100V architecture. The platform will also support future products from the company. Its revised battery, motor and controller aim to improve efficiency and reduce weight.

The motorcycle weighs 180kg, making it up to 20kg lighter than the previous generation. The new battery pack is 15 per cent lighter and offers 25 per cent higher energy density. Ultraviolette has also replaced the earlier radial cooling arrangement with an axial setup, which the company claims provides twice the cooling performance.

Battery, Range and Performance

The electric motorcycle will be available with 7kWh and 11kWh battery packs. The larger SRB-11 battery offers 11kWh of usable capacity and a claimed Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range of 343km. The company has not yet detailed the range of the entry-level 7kWh version.

The motor produces 30kW, equivalent to around 40bhp, and delivers 550Nm of torque at the wheel. Ultraviolette claims the motorcycle can accelerate from 0-60kmph in 2.7 seconds and reach 100kmph in 5.9 seconds. Its claimed top speed is 155kmph.

Charging options include DC fast charging at up to 12kW. The motorcycle also gets a 1.6kW onboard charger. These charging specifications provide buyers with different options for charging the battery.

Radar-Based Safety Features

The X-47 Venom features Ultraviolette’s Hypersense safety system. It uses a 77GHz rear radar with a claimed monitoring range of up to 200 metres. The system supports blind-spot monitoring, lane-change assistance, overtake alerts and rear-collision warnings.

The hazard lights can activate when the system detects a threat from behind. These features are designed to help riders identify potential dangers around the motorcycle. However, riders must still remain alert and follow traffic rules.

Touchscreen, Navigation and Connected Features

The motorcycle gets a new 7-inch touchscreen running Ultraviolette’s Interface X system. Its features include Mappls navigation, rear-camera park assist and cruise control.

Connected functions include software updates and VIOLETTE AI alerts. These alerts can notify owners about movement, falls, towing and crashes. The company has not provided further details about the availability of every connected feature.

Colours, Warranty and Safety Vest

The Ultraviolette X-47 Venom will be available in four colours: Afterburner Yellow, Turbo Red, Cosmic Black and Stellar White. The company has also announced extendable warranty coverage of up to 8,00,000km. Detailed terms and eligibility requirements are yet to be clarified.

Alongside the motorcycle, Ultraviolette showcased its B-MAX safety vest. The company claims the vest offers 86 per cent force attenuation, meaning it reduces the force transmitted during an impact. It can also be reused up to five times, according to the company. Its price has not been announced.

Ultraviolette X-47 Venom Price in India

The X-47 Venom starts at an introductory price of Rs 2.65 lakh for the first 5,000 units. After this offer, the regular starting price is Rs 3 lakh. The company has not specified separate prices for the 7kWh and 11kWh versions in the information provided.

With its new platform, two battery options and radar-based safety technology, the X-47 Venom adds another electric motorcycle to India’s growing EV market. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in November 2026.
