Aston Martin and Brough Superior have unveiled the road-legal AMB 002 Roadster with a titanium frame.

The new motorcycle uses a titanium frame machined from a single billet. It weighs 5kg and acts as the main structural backbone of the bike.

The AMB 002 Roadster is the first road-legal motorcycle developed by Aston Martin and Brough Superior. It follows the track-only AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro.

The new model has a carbon-fibre body and compact proportions. Exposed mechanical parts continue the design approach used by the two brands on their earlier motorcycles.

Production will be limited to 300 units. The bike also features a redesigned side strake that extends into the headlamp housing.

Its twin exhausts take design cues from Aston Martin road cars. Rear light blades draw inspiration from the brand’s hypercars.

Other details include keyless operation, a backlit ignition button and leather seat pads. The motorcycle also uses carbon-fibre body panels and fuel tank components.

5kg Titanium Frame

The titanium frame is made from one billet. This construction forms the structural backbone while keeping the frame weight at 5kg.

The AMB 002 Roadster has a claimed kerb weight of 190kg. At the front, it uses Brough Superior’s double-wishbone Fior fork suspension.

The Fior fork separates steering and braking forces. It also helps maintain the motorcycle’s front-end geometry.

Engine and Performance

Power comes from a 1,083cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine. It produces 130hp and 110Nm of torque.

The engine has been tuned for strong low- and mid-range performance. Aston Martin says it also maintains power at higher engine speeds.

Stefano Saporetti, Director of Brand Diversification at Aston Martin, described the partnership as a long-term luxury collaboration. He said the partnership has expanded Aston Martin’s design language beyond cars.

For Indian motorcycle enthusiasts, the AMB 002 Roadster stands out for its limited production and unusual engineering. Its 300-unit production run also makes it a highly exclusive road-legal motorcycle.

The AMB 002 Roadster combines Aston Martin styling with Brough Superior engineering. Production is limited to 300 motorcycles.
