The updated Panigale V4 and V4 S gain 218 hp, revised chassis settings and new electronic rider aids, with India launch details yet to be announced.
Ducati has unveiled the 2027 Panigale V4 and Panigale V4 S with more power, chassis updates and new electronic features. The Italian brand claims the changes improve track performance, including a 0.4-second reduction in lap time at the Vallelunga circuit compared with the 2026 model.
The updated superbikes retain the 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine. The standard Panigale V4 now produces 218 hp, while the V4 S receives upgraded suspension and additional equipment.
2027 Ducati Panigale V4: Engine and Performance
The 2027 Panigale V4 continues to use Ducati’s 1,103 cc, four-cylinder engine. Peak power has increased by 2 hp to 218 hp at 13,500 rpm on the standard model.
Ducati has revised the air intake, lubrication circuit and exhaust system to reduce power losses. These changes help deliver the additional power without changing the engine’s capacity.
Peak torque now stands at 120.6 Nm at 11,000 rpm, compared with 120.9 Nm at 11,250 rpm on the earlier model. The difference in torque output is small, but the updated gearing and higher rev limit are designed to improve performance on the track.
The motorcycle now uses 17/42 sprockets, replacing the previous 16/41 setup. Ducati has also raised the rev limiter to 15,000 rpm in second through fifth gears, helping riders complete a lap with fewer gear changes.
Optional Akrapovic Racing Exhaust
Buyers seeking more performance can opt for the Akrapovic Full Racing Exhaust PRO system. Ducati says this exhaust adds 11 hp and 7 Nm of torque.
The optional system also reduces weight by 6.6 kg from the standard bike’s 191 kg figure. This combination of higher output and lower weight is aimed at riders who want stronger track performance.
2027 Ducati Panigale V4: Chassis Updates
Ducati has retained the monocoque chassis but revised the front frame. Its lateral stiffness has been reduced by 12%, which the company says improves front-wheel grip at high lean angles.
The changes are intended to give riders a more precise feel through corners. Ducati also says the revised final drive ratio makes the motorcycle feel more agile and less physically demanding to ride.
The standard Panigale V4 uses fully adjustable Showa upside-down front forks and a Sachs rear monoshock. These components allow riders to adjust the suspension setup to suit their needs.
Panigale V4 S Gets Ohlins Suspension
The Panigale V4 S receives Ohlins suspension at both ends, supported by the Smart EC 3.0 electronic control system. It also weighs 187 kg without fuel, making it 4 kg lighter than the standard model’s stated weight.

Another exclusive feature is its adjustable clip-on handlebars for track use. They can raise the handlebar height by 10 mm and draw inspiration from the latest MotoGP motorcycles.
These additions distinguish the V4 S from the standard version. The S model is designed for riders seeking more advanced suspension control and a lighter motorcycle.
New Electronic Features for the 2027 Panigale V4
Ducati has introduced two new electronic rider aids: Dynamic Engine Brake and Race Brake Control. Both features appear on the Panigale range for the first time.
Dynamic Engine Brake replaces the previous Engine Brake Control system. It uses Ducati’s Vehicle Observer algorithm to help make the motorcycle more predictable while cornering and riding at extreme lean angles.
Race Brake Control improves the rear wheel’s contribution during braking. Ducati has retained the existing rider aids, ride modes, power modes and bi-directional quickshifter on both versions.
2027 Ducati Panigale V4: Colours and Customisation
For the first time, the Panigale V4 S joins Ducati’s Factory Made programme, which offers a wider range of personalisation options. Buyers can choose from 11 colours, including five from Automobili Lamborghini’s Ad Personam programme.
Ducati will also offer Corse and Performance liveries. Additional equipment includes Front Brake PRO and PRO+ packages, an STM dry clutch and adjustable footpegs.
These options allow customers to personalise the motorcycle’s appearance and equipment. Availability may vary by market, and buyers will need to confirm the final choices with their local Ducati dealer.
2027 Ducati Panigale V4: Price and Launch Timeline
Ducati has scheduled the European dealership arrival for March 2027, followed by the US market in April 2027. The UK prices are £25,495 for the standard Panigale V4 and £30,995 for the V4 S.
Based on the supplied conversions, these prices are approximately Rs 32.16 lakh and Rs 39.10 lakh, respectively. These are UK price conversions, not confirmed Indian ex-showroom prices.
Ducati has not announced an India launch date for the 2027 models. The 2026 Panigale V4 is currently listed at Rs 32.05 lakh in India, while the V4 S costs Rs 39.01 lakh, according to the supplied information.
Indian buyers will have to wait for an official announcement on the new models’ arrival and pricing. Any change in Indian prices remains unconfirmed.
What to Expect Next
The 2027 Panigale V4 range brings modestly higher power, revised chassis settings and new electronic systems. The V4 S adds Ohlins suspension, lower weight and more track-focused equipment. The next confirmed step is the start of European deliveries in March 2027. Ducati is yet to provide a launch schedule or official prices for India.
