Kawasaki Ninja Z300

The upcoming Kawasaki Z300 will take on the entry-level streetfighter segment, with bookings expected to open on October 19 and prices due on October 20.

Kawasaki has revealed the upcoming Z300 at an event in Bengaluru, giving Indian motorcycle enthusiasts their first look at the new streetfighter. The motorcycle will become the most accessible model in the brand’s Z series in India. It features styling inspired by the larger Z900, with an aggressive design and a roadster stance.

According to media reports, bookings for the Kawasaki Z300 are expected to open on October 19. The company is expected to announce its price and detailed specifications on October 20.

Kawasaki Z300 Engine and Performance

The Kawasaki Z300 is expected to share its mechanical platform with the Ninja 300. This includes a 296cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. However, Kawasaki has not yet confirmed the motorcycle’s official engine specifications.

If it uses a similar engine setup, the Z300 could deliver power and torque close to the Ninja 300’s 38.4bhp and 26.1Nm. The final performance figures will become clear once Kawasaki releases the official specifications.

Kawasaki Z300 Features and Hardware

The upcoming streetfighter is expected to share several mechanical components with the Ninja 300. These could include conventional telescopic front forks, a rear monoshock and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The motorcycle may also feature petal disc brakes at both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS. However, these details remain unconfirmed by the manufacturer.

The instrument console could be a key difference between the Z300 and the Ninja 300. Media reports suggest the new streetfighter may get a TFT display with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Kawasaki has yet to confirm these features.

Kawasaki Z300 Expected Price in India

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is currently priced at Rs 3.34 lakh (ex-showroom). The upcoming Z300 could be priced lower because it does not require the extensive bodywork found on a fully faired motorcycle.

However, a modern TFT display and connected features could affect its final price. If Kawasaki prices the Z300 below Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom), it could offer a more accessible entry point into the brand’s Z series.

Kawasaki is expected to announce the Z300’s price and specifications on October 20. Until then, its final pricing, features and performance figures remain unconfirmed.
