MG Motor India has introduced two special Hector editions with unique exterior themes, dark interiors and added features.
MG Motor India has launched the Hector Blackstorm and Snowstorm special editions in India. Both models are priced at Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom) and are offered only in the five-seater configuration.
The two editions use the 1.5-litre petrol-CVT powertrain. They carry a premium of Rs 35,000 over the top-spec Savvy Pro CVT. The special editions focus mainly on styling changes, cabin treatment and added accessories.
MG Hector Blackstorm, Snowstorm: Exterior Changes
The Blackstorm gets an all-black exterior with dark chrome branding. It also features piano black roof rails and smoked connected tail lamps. The Snowstorm takes a different approach. It combines Pearl White paint with a Starry Black roof for a two-tone look.
Both editions get a Storm Hex grille and black headlamp bezels. They also feature Aura Storm Blade alloy wheels and red brake calipers. Dark styling is also used on the skid plates, body cladding and tailgate elements.
Dark Interior With Added Features
The cabins of both special editions use an all-dark theme. They get black leather upholstery, while the front headrests carry edition-name embossing.
The steering wheel is leather-wrapped and finished in gunmetal. Other equipment includes eight-colour ambient lighting and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.

Both editions also get an air purifier and an automatic powered tailgate. A 35.56 cm portrait HD touchscreen sits at the centre of the dashboard.
The touchscreen works with a 17.78 cm digital instrument display. MG’s Smart Boost system is designed to improve processing speed. The i-Swipe system supports two- and three-finger gestures. These controls can be used for climate, navigation and music functions.
Connected Technology and Safety
The i-Smart connected system offers more than 70 functions. These include a Digital Bluetooth Key, key sharing and predictive maintenance alerts.
The system also allows remote access to the audio system, air conditioning and ambient lighting. Safety equipment includes a 360-degree HD camera with wheel view and front parking sensors. The special editions also get ABS, EBD, electronic stability control and traction control.
Hill-hold control and brake assist are also included. ADAS, or advanced driver assistance systems, are part of the package, along with rain-sensing wipers.
Dealer-Fitted Storm Package
MG is offering a dealer-fitted Storm package with the two editions at no extra cost. It includes Blackstorm or Snowstorm badges and a red tailgate accent.
The package also adds fog-lamp eye shadows, ORVM protectors and side steps. Red detailing on the fog lamps and mirrors matches the red brake calipers.
Finance and Warranty Benefits
MG Motor India is offering 100 per cent financing on the on-road price. Customers can choose loan tenures of up to 84 months. The same financing support applies to edition-specific accessories. The company is also offering its MG Shield 3+3+3 package.
The package includes a three-year unlimited-kilometre warranty, three years of roadside assistance and three labour-free periodic services. Extended warranty and prepaid maintenance plans are also available.
The Blackstorm and Snowstorm are now part of the Hector range in India, with both editions retaining the standard 1.5-litre petrol-CVT powertrain.
