Ducati has updated the 2027 Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak with a new racing-inspired livery and revised riding position, while retaining its existing engine.
Ducati has refreshed the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak for 2027 with a new livery. Ducati Centro Stile developed the design with Drudi Performance. The graphics take inspiration from the Ducati Desmosedici GP MotoGP bike and Panigale V4 R World Superbike racer.
The new finish gives the sport-touring motorcycle a stronger racing identity. However, Ducati has kept the main mechanical package unchanged.
Racing-Inspired Design Updates
The updated model gets a sharper paint scheme based on Ducati’s factory racing colours. Carbon-fibre parts, including the front mudguard and beak, remain part of the package.
The motorcycle also features Ducati Corse badging, a smoked windscreen and a V4-branded seat. Gold-anodised Ohlins fork sliders add to the racing-focused design. A road-legal titanium Akrapovic silencer also continues on the motorcycle.

Buyers can further personalise the motorcycle through Ducati’s Factory Made programme. Options include red forged wheels with red or black brake callipers. Other choices include different seat heights, extra carbon-fibre parts, auxiliary lights and a complete luggage setup.
The luggage package includes panniers and a top box. This allows owners to set up the motorcycle for sport-focused riding or longer touring use.
Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak: Chassis Updates
The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak remains the road-focused version of Ducati’s Multistrada range. It uses a 17-inch front wheel instead of the 19-inch wheel found on the standard Multistrada V4.
The smaller front wheel is designed to provide quicker steering and a sportier feel on paved roads. The motorcycle also uses five-spoke forged aluminium wheels and a single-sided swingarm.
Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres are fitted as standard. The front tyre measures 120/70 ZR17, while the rear tyre measures 190/55 ZR17. Ducati has also changed the riding position. The footpegs are higher and farther back, while the handlebars are lower, narrower and flatter.
These changes provide more cornering clearance and a sportier riding position. The setup is designed to make the Pikes Peak more engaging in fast corners while retaining its touring ability.
Engine And Performance
Power comes from Ducati’s 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine. It produces 167 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 123.8 Nm at 9,000 rpm. The engine retains its MotoGP-derived counter-rotating crankshaft. The Pikes Peak also gets a Race Riding Mode with a revised rev-limiter strategy for smoother high-rpm gear changes.
The quickshifter has also received a dedicated calibration. Suspension duties are handled by Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension, with 170 mm of travel at both ends.
Ducati’s Electronic Combined Braking System can add rear-brake pressure when the rider applies the front brake. This system is part of the motorcycle’s wider electronic package.
Technology And Safety Features
The electronics include IMU-assisted cornering ABS, traction control and wheelie control. Engine-brake control, vehicle hold control and five riding modes are also included. The riding modes are Race, Sport, Touring, Urban and Wet. Front and rear radar systems are standard as well.
These radar systems support Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection and Forward Collision Warning. Ducati has therefore retained a broad technology package alongside the visual update.
