The new range brings revised variants, updated cabin features and more equipment across the Sierra lineup.
Tata Motors has introduced the Sierra Legend Series in India. The new range starts at Rs 11.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The Legend Series sits alongside the existing Sierra range. It brings a revised variant structure and new cabin treatment across multiple trims.
Tata Sierra Legend Series Variant Lineup
The new series is available in five trims. These are Smart+ L, Pure L, Pure L(O), Pure+ L and Adventure+ L. Each trim keeps the equipment from the variant below it. It then adds more comfort and convenience features for buyers. This creates a step-by-step equipment structure across the range. Buyers can move to higher trims as their feature requirements increase.
Tata Sierra Legend Series Features
The Smart+ L and higher variants get several standard features. These include leatherette seats, leatherette door trims and armrests. They also get steering-mounted controls, auto-folding ORVMs and roof rails. The range uses 17-inch steel wheels with full wheel covers at this level.
Safety equipment remains consistent across the series. Six airbags, ESP, all-wheel disc brakes and an electronic parking brake with auto hold are standard.
Sierra Pure L Features
The Pure L variant adds several technology and convenience features. It gets a touchscreen infotainment system and an eight-speaker audio system. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also available. The variant further adds a rear camera with guidelines and cruise control.

Other additions include drive modes, hill descent control and a tyre pressure monitoring system. It also gets 17-inch alloy wheels and a rear wash-wipe.
Sierra Pure+ L Features
The Pure+ L brings a fuller leatherette interior treatment. It also gets a six-way powered driver seat with a thigh-support extender. Boss Mode is another addition to this variant. The cabin also gains dual-zone automatic climate control and a driver one-touch anti-pinch window. Rear USB-C chargers are included as well. These features add more convenience to the cabin.
Sierra Adventure+ L Features
The Adventure+ L sits at the top of the Legend Series. It gets a 360-degree HD surround-view system with 4Sight blind spot view. Front parking sensors and LED fog lamps with a cornering function are also included. The variant uses Superglide suspension with frequency-dependent damping.
It also gets Normal, Wet and Rough terrain modes. Larger digital displays, a two-stage reclining rear seat and a rear armrest are part of the package.
Additional features include mood lighting, a cooled glovebox and wireless charging. The Adventure+ L therefore carries the most extensive equipment list in the new series.
Tata Sierra Legend Series Colours
The Sierra Legend Series is offered in Pristine White, Pure Grey and Coorg Clouds. Munnar Myst becomes available from the Pure L variant. Bengal Rouge with tinted treatment and Andaman Adventure are offered on the Pure+ L and Adventure+ L variants.
Tata Sierra Legend Series Powertrain Options
The powertrain range remains unchanged with the Legend Series. Buyers can choose from the Revotron 1.5-litre petrol, Kryojet 1.5-litre diesel and Hyperion 1.5-litre TGDI engines.
Transmission options include a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic and seven-speed DCA. Availability depends on the selected variant. The new Legend Series therefore focuses on variant restructuring and equipment changes. Tata Motors has retained the existing powertrain options across the Sierra range.
