The upcoming flagship will use MediaTek’s 2nm chipset and launch in China on September 22.
Oppo has confirmed that the Find X10 Pro Max will be among the first phones with the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. The smartphone will launch in China on September 22 and is also planned for international markets.
The new chipset uses TSMC’s 2nm N2P process. Oppo says it brings gains in processing, graphics and on-device artificial intelligence performance.
Oppo Find X10 Pro Max Gets Dimensity 9600 Pro
The MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro uses an All-Big-Core design. It includes two C2-Ultra cores clocked at up to 4.55GHz, along with six performance cores.
Each core can use independent frequency controls. This allows the processor to adjust performance based on different workloads. Oppo claims the chipset delivers a 17 percent increase in overall CPU performance.
Oppo also says CPU multi-core energy efficiency can improve by up to 61 percent over the previous generation. These figures are based on the company’s stated comparisons.
New GPU and AI Performance
The Dimensity 9600 Pro also features the G2-Ultra NX GPU. It supports enhanced ray tracing and neural graphics capabilities. According to Oppo, the GPU can provide around 27 percent higher performance during sustained heavy workloads. The chipset also includes two NPUs for on-device AI processing.

The high-performance NPU is claimed to improve LLM prefill performance by 51 percent. The Super Efficient NPU is said to improve power efficiency by 40 percent. These improvements are aimed at tasks such as large-language-model processing and computational photography.
Oppo Develops Laminar Flow Engine
Oppo and MediaTek have developed the Laminar Flow Engine for the Find X10 Pro Max. The technology connects rendering with system scheduling to manage performance and power use.
Oppo says the system can improve app launch times. It is also designed to keep content loading smoother during demanding tasks, including rapid photo browsing.
Oppo Find X10 Pro Max Camera Details
The Find X10 Pro Max will feature a rectangular rear camera module. It will have three lenses, with a separate section for the flash and another sensor. The phone will use three 200-megapixel rear cameras. Hasselblad is collaborating with Oppo on the camera hardware.
The smartphone will also introduce Oppo’s second-generation Danxia colour system. Further camera details are expected around the phone’s launch.
Oppo Find X10 Pro Max Launch Date and Colours
Oppo has confirmed that the Find X10 Pro Max will launch in China on September 22. The event is scheduled for 7pm local time, which is 4:30pm IST.
The phone will be offered in Warm Orange, Moon White and Light Titanium colours. It will also feature a battery with a capacity of up to 8,000mAh.
Oppo has not yet announced the phone’s price. The company has also not confirmed the international release timeline. The China launch will provide more details about the Find X10 Pro Max. Information about global availability and pricing is expected at Oppo’s international launch event.
