Tesla has launched the long-wheelbase Model Y L Premium in India at Rs. 61.99 lakh, with six seats and all-wheel drive.
Tesla has launched the Model Y L Premium in India, adding a longer-wheelbase version to its electric SUV range. The new model gets three rows and six seats, along with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system.
Tesla Model Y L Premium Price in India
The Tesla Model Y L Premium is priced at Rs. 61.99 lakh, ex-showroom. It is offered only with all-wheel drive and sits between the Model Y Standard and Model Y Long Range models launched in 2025.
The SUV is available in six exterior finishes. These include Stealth Grey, Cosmic Silver, Ultra Red, Glacier Blue, Diamond Black and Pearl White Multi-Coat.
Tesla Model Y L Premium Specifications
The Model Y L Premium produces up to 378kW of power and 590Nm of torque. Tesla claims a 0-100kmph time of five seconds and a top speed of 201kmph.

The electric SUV has a WLTP-certified range of up to 681km on one charge. Tesla says a 15-minute Supercharger session can add up to 288km of range.
The long-wheelbase model has a wheelbase that is 150mm longer than the standard Model Y. It measures 4,976mm long, 2,129mm wide and 1,668mm tall. The SUV also gets a slightly taller roofline and 19-inch Machina 2.0 alloy wheels.
Three-Row Seating and Cabin Features
Inside, the Model Y L Premium has three rows with six seats. The second row uses captain seats instead of the bench seat found in the standard model. The new model also gets thigh extension, which is not offered on the standard variant.
Tesla says the SUV offers up to 2,539 litres of cargo space. The cabin is built around a 15.8-inch touchscreen, while an 8-inch rear display serves second-row passengers.
The screens handle functions such as media, navigation and climate settings. Other features include an 18+1 speaker audio system, heated and ventilated seats, ambient lighting and a panoramic glass roof.
Connectivity and Safety Features
The Model Y L Premium comes with connected services. Buyers get a 30-day premium connectivity trial, while standard connectivity, including navigation, remains available for up to eight years.
The SUV also supports over-the-air software updates. Tesla offers advanced driver assistance systems, multiple airbags and electronic stability control as part of its safety equipment.
However, Tesla’s Full Self-Driving system remains unavailable for active use in India. The Model Y L Premium adds more seating, space and range to Tesla’s Indian electric SUV line-up.
