Ducati Panigale V2: Engine and Performance
The Panigale V2 is Ducati’s entry-level superbike. It uses an 890cc liquid-cooled, 90-degree V2 engine that produces 120 hp at 10,750 rpm. The engine also delivers 93.3 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm and comes with a six-speed gearbox.
The engine features Ducati’s Intake Variable Valve Timing system. It weighs 54.4 kg, making it the lightest twin-cylinder engine produced by the company at Borgo Panigale. The motorcycle has a kerb weight of 179 kg, a 15-litre fuel tank and an 837mm seat height.
Ducati Panigale V2: Features and Electronics
The motorcycle comes with Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 as standard. This system allows riders to change gears without using the clutch. It also gets a slipper clutch for smoother downshifts during hard braking.

Why the Ducati Panigale V2 Is Special
The Panigale V2 sits below the more powerful Panigale V4 in Ducati’s superbike range. However, it retains the brand’s racing-inspired design and performance-focused features. Its 120 hp output and 179 kg kerb weight make it a powerful middleweight sports bike. The model also meets Euro5+ emission standards.
