Vivo is set to launch the Vivo V80 in India on October 6 at 12pm IST. The company has confirmed that launch date. A new leak now claims that the Vivo S2 FE could debut at the same event.
The S2 FE has not been officially announced by Vivo. The reported details come from tipster Ahsan Kharbai on X. His post also showed alleged images of the phone in black and green colours.
The leaked images suggest a flat rear panel with a square camera module. The module appears to include two camera lenses and an LED flash. The front is shown with a centred hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera.
Vivo S2 FE price and display details
The Vivo S2 FE is tipped to cost below Rs 40,000 in India. Vivo has not confirmed the price or any launch details for this model. The phone is reportedly set to feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. It could support a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The display may also use a centred hole-punch design.
Performance and storage
The leaked specifications point to a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G chipset. The phone could also use LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. For protection, the handset is tipped to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings.
