Tata Motors has launched the Sierra Dark Edition in India. Prices start at Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Pure L DARK petrol-manual variant.
The new edition is available across the Sierra Legend Series lineup. It includes Pure L, Pure L (O), Pure+ L, Adventure+ L, Accomplished and Accomplished+ variants.
Tata Sierra Dark Edition: Price List
The Sierra Dark Edition is available with several engine and gearbox combinations. Prices range from Rs 13.99 lakh to Rs 21.59 lakh (ex-showroom).
The range starts with the Pure L DARK powered by the 1.5-litre petrol engine. At the top is the Accomplished+ DARK with the 1.5-litre diesel engine and automatic gearbox. The special edition also offers petrol-manual, petrol-DCA, diesel-manual, diesel-automatic and petrol-hybrid automatic options.
What Is New With the Sierra Dark?
The biggest change is the exterior and interior design treatment. The Sierra Dark gets a Friesian Black exterior finish with a Violet Eclipse interior theme.

The cabin features black leatherette upholstery and purple chrome accents. These changes give the SUV a darker visual theme compared with the standard Sierra. Apart from the design updates, Tata Motors has retained the equipment and features offered with the corresponding standard variants.
Tata Sierra Dark Edition: Engine Options
The Sierra range is available with three engine options. The entry-level 1.5-litre naturally aspirated Revotron petrol engine produces 106 hp and 145 Nm.
This engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Buyers can also choose the 1.5-litre Hyperion TGDi turbo-petrol engine. The turbo-petrol engine produces 160 hp and 255 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The diesel option uses a 1.5-litre Kryojet turbo-diesel engine. It produces 118 hp, with 260 Nm in manual form and 280 Nm with the automatic transmission. The diesel engine is available with both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearboxes.

The Sierra Dark is offered across several trims and powertrain combinations. The widest choice is available in the mid and higher variants. Prices for the top Accomplished and Accomplished+ versions cross the Rs 20 lakh mark. The new edition therefore gives buyers a darker design option across different price points within the Sierra range.
For buyers comparing the Sierra with its regular versions, the main difference is the Dark Edition’s styling treatment. The underlying equipment and features remain aligned with the respective standard Sierra variants.
